Summer Shoes on a Budget

With some sunshine and hot weather (hopefully) just around the corner I’m after some gorgeous shoes which aren’t going to break the bank. Here are a couple of perfect summer styles I’ve found, none of which cost more than £30!

Coral sandalsClothing at Tesco – I’ve been rocking a black version of these for most of this month (when it’s not been raining anyway!), they’re simple but the shape makes a real impact. I’m a massive fan of coral too. These sandals are only a fiver in the sale!! This is a great time to shop for summer shoes as although England hasn’t had much sunshine just yet, the fashion season is ending so all the sales are just starting!
Yellow Suede WedgesAsos – This muted yellow colour is beautiful and I love the espadrille style wedge, the larger platform gives you the lift we’re all lusting after without any ankle snapping!
Orange Havaiana Flip Flops – Spartoo – I have a new found Havaiana obsession, as another blogger said, these shoes are like walking on clouds! Perfect for holidays too :)
Turquoise Peep Toe ShoesClothing at Tesco – I love the shape and colour of these peep toes. They also have a padded sole which makes them super comfy, I think it’s really difficult to find a pair of stylish comfortable shoes, especially when you’re after heels and are on a budget, most of the high street just don’t cut it, but I really love these!
Black Ballerina FlatsClothing at Tesco – Every girl needs a good pair of black ballet flats and these ones have a real Tory Burch look about them.. at £12.50 you can’t really go wrong! These will carry you through to Winter too when worn with a pretty floral dress and black tights.

Most Wanted #14

Chiffon Shirt - American Apparel - I've become a little obsessed with American Apparel just lately, I know a lot of people say it's a waste of money but the quality and fit is better than most designer brands. I've been after the perfect white shirt for a couple of seasons, this one is gorgeous and I see it as more of an investment piece that will really last me.
Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask - Debenhams - I have quite dry skin and am forever trying out different moisturisers. I really like the idea of a mask you can leave on overnight and I've heard good things about Origins as a brand.
YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Le Rouge - Debenhams - You probably know I love bright lipstick, especially reds. I would love to get a perfect red in my favourite lipstick formulation.
Dynemite Heels - Steve Madden @ Spartoo - I've seen these shoes a couple of times on Ashley's blog and they look amazing, such a classic beautiful shape.
Neon Box Bag - Zara - Would love this with a neon necklace and an all black outfit. I say would.. I just bought it.

Barry M Silvery Lilac

For a beauty snob such as myself it's hard for me to admit just how much I love Barry M polishes. Their colour range is great and seems to be growing by the week. Apart from the crackles and the awful magnetic stuff I really like the majority of them, and at £2.99-£3.99 a pop they're a steal!

Barry M Silvery Lilac is a gorgeous sparkly purple/silvery green duochrome nail varnish. I believe it's their first duochrome and I would bet that they'll be doing lots more. This is a colour unlike I've seen from any other brands which is the main reason I picked it up. The duochrome is subtle but effective and I probably had the most compliments on my nails ever while wearing this polish.

For me I found the wear to be pretty good, I had it on nearly two days without any chips. I read some blogs that say "this polish isn't bad, I wore it for 5 days with no chips", but seriously.. how?! I don't know if I'm just clumsy but I never get more than 2 days with perfect polish even when I'm wearing a base and top coat.
This polish does have silver micro glitter in it but I didn't find that this made removing it difficult like standard glitters.

Overall I'd say along with the gold and silver foils this is one of my favourite Barry M polishes, and definitely worth picking up.
