In July some friends and I are going to Latitude! I've never been to a proper festival so in true Emma style I'm already preparing outfits!
Hunter Wellies - Spartoo - Wellies are the ultimate fesitval shoes, practically so! I've wanted some Hunters for a while so this is the excuse to finally get some!
Space Shorts - Topshop - I think a few pairs of shorts will be needed (if the weather is good, fingers crossed!) The space pattern on these is so cute!
Bon Iver T-Shirt - Bon Iver may just be my favourite group, I absolutely cannot wait to see them live. I couldn't find a great pic of this tee but I love the pattern :)
Cross Body Satchel - New Look - This is a great size for carrying round the necessities and it's only £6!
Flower Sunglasses - So getting these! Mental sunglasses are always needed, especially at a festival!
Xen Tan Dark Lotion - Feel Unique - I had to slip one beauty product in there!! Luckily I won't have to take this with me though. Definitely the best tanning product there is, it should leave me with a nice colour for the whole weekend.
Is anyone going to any festivals this summer? Or have you ever been to Latitude? Give me tips!!

Boux Avenue Bullring Opening
On Thursday I went to the opening of the new Boux Avenue store in the Bullring with a couple of other bloggers. The store was absolutely beautiful, decorated in a French boudoir vibe, each piece clearly laid out with its matching styles and sizes underneath in labelled draws. I absolutely loved their collection, a lot of lingerie stores which are in my price range border on the slutty side of things but everything was gorgeous and what I would feel comfortable wearing.
I also had my very first bra fitting in the store (eeek!), I was a little nervous but the lovely Abby who works at Boux Avenue was very professional and put me at ease. As I expected I was in the wrong bra size completely but after trying on a few styles I found just how much of a difference wearing the right bra size can make. I bought a neon pink (maybe not the most practical colour) Chloe lace plunge bra, I absolutely love it and now need to get all of the colours!
The fitting rooms were out of this world, they all had names such as lace and taffeta, the handles, hooks and lights were all exquisite. The best bit was the light buttons, so you could see how you looked in daylight, dusk or night, I do love a gadget!
I was so impressed with the store and the brand as a whole, I'll definitely be back and purchasing a lot more from them!

Style Compare - Fashion Friday
Style Compare is a website I've been looking at a lot lately and I absolutely love their concept. They list over 50 fashion retailers on one website, making shopping online quicker and easier, ensuring you find exactly what you want. Their use of filters during your search is also something I like an awful lot, making it easier to narrow down all of the fabulous products so you can find the perfect piece for you.
Fashion Friday is a Facebook competition run by Style Compare which offers fans the chance to win £100 worth of fashion prizes each week. This week, they're offering £100 towards any blazer from the site - all you have to do is state whether you prefer polka dots or stripes in the vote off.
A couple of my favourite blazers from the Style Compare site are the Coral lapel-less jacket, this leather accented piece by Selected, Firetrap's red miliatary style and this cute floral trim blazer with draped pockets from House of Dereon.

Seek The Light
My first outfit in my new house :) If you didn't read my incredibly soppy TMI last post you won't know that I have moved in with two of my best friends, we're finally settled now and have the internet, its feeling like a proper home and I love it!
I bought these shoes in the pink colour too, they're so comfy and perfect for colour blocking this season. This colour is very similar to the pair I love from By Malene Birger too, but a LOT cheaper.
Spartoo are mostly a shoes website but they do great bags too, a lot of them are amazing value and the quality is way beyond the likes of Topshop. This cute little clutch is from a brand called Pieces, I'm absolutely loving coral colours at the moment and best of all it was only £15!
I attempted nail wraps for the first time ever today and after a bit of a disaster with my first hand it went pretty well on my second. I still think they're a bit of a waste of money though and would rather paint my nails, they might be nice for an accent nail in the future.

I think when everything is properly sorted I might do a room tour and a little house tour of our new place :) I love watching those videos and I really want to get into recording again.

Life, Struggles, Goals and Happiness.
I know my blog has been a little here and there since the start of the year but hopefully I'll be able to get back into a routine with it pretty soon.
Some of you may know I moved out of my parents house and in with two of my best friends last week. This is a big step for me and one I am so proud and happy to be taking.
When I turned 18 I made a list of all I wanted to have achieved by the time I was 21. I was in a pretty dark place at the time, struggling with an eating disorder and in the depths of severe depression.
The last few years have been the hardest of my life and I am so glad that I finally feel like I have come out the other side.
I hit rock bottom around the time of my 20th birthday but my amazing Mom found the strength to pull me back, since that turning point I feel like I have completely changed my life. I have accomplished so many of my ambitions, most of which I was just too hard on myself to achieve before.
I have a career which suits me perfectly and I absolutely love, I have amazing friends and an even more amazing family and although it will probably always be a struggle I need to take one day at a time I feel like I am finally leaving the depression which has controlled me for most of my life behind me.
Moving out may seem like a natural step for most people around my age but for me I see it as a confirmation that I can support myself and I am in control of what I feel and what I do.
Going through that list this weekend I truly have felt a sense of achievement, some things on there were little and silly like getting a tattoo (done), others were bigger and felt totally out of reach at the time, but I have still managed to get there. One thing I haven't done is pass my driving test but I've decided to save up and take an intensive week long course in May or June so I will still have done it before I turn 21 in July!
I know this kind of post isn't what my blog is about and things like this won't become regular features but having this blog has also helped me through and I am so glad I have stuck with it for all this time.
If anyone out there is struggling with depression or anything like what I have gone through please please talk to someone, I am living proof that you can get through it and by truly happy with life.

Crocs.. still ugly?
When the Crocs phase first came about I totally hated the ugly clogs, I particularly cringed when my friend who worked in Clarks had to wear a pair as part of her uniform.
I do have to admit though that a few years after being scarred by the sight of the traditional Crocs I was watching a CTFxC vlog and wondering what brand of shoes all of the girls in the videos were wearing... when I found out they were Crocs I was a little shocked but intrigued to see what other styles they offered.
I ended up ordering these Adrina flat shoes from Spartoo, and I have to say I'm completely in love with them. Even though it's not quite warm enough yet, I've been wearing them non-stop. They're unbelievably comfy, waterproof, hard wearing, well made, and surprisingly great looking.
(Please excuse the feet shot. Matching nail polish colour was a coincidence!)
Do you have a love/hate relationship with any brands?

Most Wanted #9 - Summer Holiday Edition
For my 21st my parents are taking me to Sorrento and Capri. I've always wanted to go to Italy and have already mentally started packing!
Bikini - Matalan - I'd love a strapless bikini but that's not really an option for me.. this may be the prettiest practical bikini I've seen in a long time, I love the print!
St Tropez SPF 20 with Tan Enhancer - Feel Unique - I've always said an SPF needs to be made with tan in, this isn't quite there but it's supposed to stimulate melanin production, to help enhance your tan naturally.. I need all the help I can get!
YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Rose Dahlia - Debenhams - Beautiful bright coral, perfect for the holiday, especially with a tan!
Crochet Dress - River Island -Beautiful colour and should be nice and cool in the heat, great suitcase space saver too, would be fab for day and night :)
Lattice Back Top - Topshop - I love the shape of this and the back detail.
Blue Denim Shorts - New Look - Love the colour of these and they'd be fab with that bikini top and a loose fitting vest top.
C.Petula Ladymousse Wedges - Spartoo -We'll probably be walking quite a bit and most of sorrento is cobbled so skinny heeled shoes are out of the question, these wedges are beautiful and practical though!
