Every Cloud...

Top: H&M.  Jeans: H&M.  Jacket: TK Maxx.  Boots: Topshop.
Necklace: Topshop.  Ring: Asos.

Woah, first outfit post in a very long time! I did actually take some photos for one a week or so ago but hated them so never uploaded.
I love how sparkly this outfit is, these boots were a Christmas present from my Mom and they are AMAZING, the pictures don't even do them justice, I wore them out the other night and got so many comments on them. I really love the heel too, it makes them so comfortable and means I can dress them up or down.
The top hasn't come out in the pics quite as shiny as it is, I need to get a camera that can pick up my sparkle habit! I know there's loads of versions like this going around but they're so expensive for a simple shape t-shirt, I can't remember exactly how much this was but I think about £15, less than half the price of the Topshop version! I got it just before xmas so I don't know if it will still be available.

I've managed to overspend so much this month, I'm in desperate need of pay day (3 days to go!). Not sure how I've even managed it, I think I just did so well with saving and not spending on myself in December I went a bit mad this month.. woops!

Most Wanted #7 - Beauty Edition

Jo Malone Dark Amber and Ginger Lily Perfume - £90 for 100ml - This might be the best thing I've ever smelt, I've never had anything from Jo Malone but I know a lot of bloggers swear by it. I just don't know if I can justify that price :/
Jemma Kidd Light as Air - £25 - I think I've found the perfect foundation then I read about something else, never satisfied with what's going on my face!
Morrocanoil shampoo and conditioner - £15.85 and £16.55 - I've recently become a Morrocan Oil convert, I never really believed the hype but it's done wonders for my hair so I'd love to try some more products from their range.
Chanel Perfection Lumiere - £36 - I've been itching to try Chanel foundations but unfortunately even the lightest shades are too dark for me. I've heard there's more of a colour range in their latest release so I'd love it if one matched me!
Mac Eyeshadow in Humid - £10 -  I've been loving dark green and khaki colours lately, this would be beautiful as an all over wash or a base for darker shadows.
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer - £17 - I'm on the lookout for a new concealer, my Mac one is just a little too heavy for me, I have fairly good skin so I mostly need something for under my eyes and on the odd blemish. I've seen so many fantastic reviews for this so I really want to give it a go.
Tweezerman Animal Print Tweezers - £22 - I've had the classic pink Tweezermans for years and they are well worth the price tag, they have had a few knocks though and I could do with a new pair, I obviously need these leopard print ones!
Models Own Mixed Up - £5 - I love black nail polish and I love glitters.. perfect combination!

By Malene Birger SS12

By Malene Birger is a Danish mid-end designer brand. I have a been a huge fan of the label since we started selling it in the boutique I work in about three seasons ago. I feel the label has grown rapidly within the last year, probably due to Kate Middleton wearing some pieces during her tour of Canada. You may have also heard of her first label, a collaboration with Kled Mikkelsen, Day Birger et Mikkelsen.
I know my style is extremely eclectic but as I move further into my twenties I'd love to steer my 'look' towards the By Malene Birger aesthetic. Classy cuts, with nude and black bases and pops of rich, bright colours, muted prints, oversized shapes mixed with fitted styles.

Out of all of the seasons I have seen from By Malene Birger, the Spring/Summer 2012 collection has to be my favourite. Above are a few of my picks from the collection, I love this tone of green, especially with the sequins. I desperately need that maxi dress, and somewhere to wear it!

Golden Globes 2012

Nicole Richie in Julian MacDonald - A lot of Americans don't get British designers but Nicole Richie wears them well. I love the simplicity of the shape of this dress with the stand out metallic fabric.
Dianna Agron in Giles - Not many people could pull this off, from the detailed top to the heavily laced ruffle and cut out skirt, it would all be a little too much on most people but Dianna Agron manages to make it look chic and up to date. I am always a bit wary of red dresses on the red carpet though.
Nicole Kidman in Versace - I love the embellishment on this dress, the colour is perfect for Nicole Kidman too, it can be hard to wear light colours when you're pale (I feel your pain!) but this cool grey/cream hue is gorgeous.
Salma Hayek in House of Boucheron - This has to be my favourite dress of the night, You can't go wrong with black and I'm sure you've noticed I love metallics by now. The design of the top and the defined waist are gorgeous too...and yay for ombre hair!

Emma Stone in Lanvin - This girl's style makes me proud to be called Emma! The dress is gorgeous, I love the shoulders and the unusual pairing with the tough buckled belt.
Lea Michele in Marchesa - Not a style I usually like, but I love the metallic gunmetal hue and the skirt with train is gorgeous. Lea Michele never goes wrong with her Marchesa choices. The Glee girls win for hair and make-up on the night too.
Mila Kunis in Dior - Just seeing those four words you know it's going to be beautiful. It's impossible for this girl to look bad, classic black with a chiffon top and defined waist. I would have preferred it if it were strapless though, that one shoulder strap looks a little out of place.
Michelle Williams in Jason Wu - I've seen this on a few 'Worst Dressed' lists but I absolutely love it. It goes perfectly with Michelle Williams' quirky style. The colour and velvet mix are beautiful and I love the cut. It would have looked even more amazing with her Marilyn hair though!

Most Wanted #6

Crochet Top - New Look - I thought this would be really cute with high waisted midi skirts in the summer.
Slouchy Jumper - Topshop - Love the colour and shape of this, can be paired with jeans or a black maxi skirt and loads of jewellery.
Leopard Midi Dress - Topshop - This is a must buy! Cant wait to wear this with a leather jacket and wedges in the spring :)
Tan Vagabond Boots - The colour and shape of these shoes are perfect, my favourite kind of heel too, I'm not a stiletto girl.
Lace Dress - Urban Outfitters - Pretty colour and shape, would like to style this with lots of gold jewellery.
Firework Top - Monki - I'm not a big fan of wearing printed tshirts, but I love the fireworks on this and the shape is perfect for me.
Blue Clutch - Monki - This would add a great pop of colour to a black outfit, I'm really into this cerulean blue at the moment.

Milani Digital 3D Holographic Nail Polish

Milani 3D Holographic nail polish in Digital from eBay

I'm sure most regular readers will know my love for sparkly and holographic nail polishes, I'm also going through a bit of a pink nails phase at the moment so this is the perfect combination.
Milani is quite hard to find in the UK but I buy a lot of beauty products off eBay so it doesn't bother me having to buy the brand there, this seller was reasonably priced and shipped quickly.

The varnish is fairly transparent so would benefit from a similar colour as a base. In the pictures I didn't use a base but it took about 3-4 coats to make it that opaque. It dries quickly and has a beautiful smooth shiny finish which looks similar to a gel manicure.

I took these photos with flash as the effect is direct light is so beautiful, the colour is still lovely without though.
