This review had to be posted on a Sunday really!
I found I was getting build up despite washing my hair daily to every other day so decided on getting a clarifying shampoo, after a little research the Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo seemed to be the best option.
Bumble and Bumble describe the product as "A weekly (any day) detox to rid hair of product residue, hard water minerals, pollutants, you name it. Perfect for product junkies and infrequent washers."
The one thing I was worried about was how drying this product would be, especially as I have bleached and heat damaged hair. Luckily this didn't dry my hair out at all, it just did exactly what it said on the tin (bottle). I used a very small amount, much less than I would with a normal shampoo and I loved how much it lathered up, I felt even a small blob cleaned all of my very thick long hair. After using, my hair felt lighter, looked cleaner than ever and was so much easier to style and get volume into.
The description, and other reviews I've read, warned against using the product on colour treated hair. I have ombre hair which means it is bleached at the ends and although I did use a dye on the top of my hair to darken it, this was over a year ago so I felt this would be safe to use. My hair has lightened a little since using this shampoo weekly for about a month, but this isn't something I mind too much. I would say if you do have dyed hair you need to steer away from this shampoo though.
Overall, if you have non-colour treated hair I would thoroughly recommend this product! Especially to use once a week before a mask (I love using the Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Mask right after it). The shampoo is priced at £15.50 for 250ml and is available from Look Fantastic here.
Oooh, seems like a great product - it would be perfect for me since my hair isn't colour treated! Thanks for the review. x

I usually do not leave a leave a response, however after reading
ReplyDeletea few of the comments here "Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo".
I actually do have 2 questions for you if it's okay. Is it just me or does it look like like a few of the remarks appear like they are left by brain dead visitors? :-P And, if you are writing at other social sites, I'd like to keep
