I mentioned a few posts back about this Primark denim jacket and I was thinking of studding it, well I ordered some studs off this ebay seller. They only took 10 days to arrive, which I thought was pretty good as they were sent from Hong Kong. Unfortunately it seems that the seller is now charging for delivery, so have a look around, you might be able to find a better deal.
A tutorial isn't really needed here, the studs have 4 sharp spikes on the back which you simply press through the fabric then bend over at the other side. I'd say to use a butter knife or screwdriver to do this as you don't want to cut your fingers! Also make sure the spikes are bent in well so they don't pull at your clothes or skin when you're wearing the jacket (or whatever you're studding).
Here's my finished jacket..
The placement of the studs looks a little odd in this picture, but thats just because it is laid flat, it will make more sense when I'm wearing it. I'll put it in an outfit post soon to show you what I mean.
I didn't want too much on the back so I just added a few studs at the bottom of the jacket.
Hope you like it :)
PS: Sorry about the long hiatus, but unfortunately this has been my life for the last week or so!
